Last week was my spring break from school. Let me just say, it was not nearly long enough! Two weeks before spring break, I started getting sick. I was feeling really funny and just not good. I even didn't go to school the last two days before break, which just shows how not good I was feeling. I flew out of town on saturday and M&D picked me up at the airport. I was doing okay, just weak and really tired. We shopped around a bit (didn't find one thing to buy....dang!), had some food (I ate half of a kids meal. yeah.), and then headed home. I was very worn out and weak but it was good to be home.
Woke up on sunday morning extremely hot and my face was bright red. I got dizzy when I stood up so I spent most of the morning on the couch. Took my temperature and it showed that I was at 102.2 Too high for comfort. Needless to say, I did not go to church. Instead I spent the day on the couch, sleeping, drinking cool liquids, and had a wet wash cloth plastered to my poor hot head. Luckily a few hours into the day my fever had dropped but I was still feeling cruddy. Each day of break I felt a little bit better, but never 100%. I really did spend all day inside laying down watching movies and reading and sleeping. Funny that I took at least an hour nap every day and had no trouble whatsoever getting to sleep at night which is a big deal for me. It was a fun few days let me tell you.
Thursday I finally started feeling good. I went in and helped in m's class, visited a friend, went to walmart, and was feeling good. I took some medication that I was on for the first time in a few days and thats when the problems began again. That night was horrible: sleeplessness, restless, antsy, jittery, bit of a fever, heat rash, the works. It was not fun. I got up on friday, told m who then called a pharmasist. he said that apparently i am allergic to that type of medication and that was what was causing my problems that day. At least I figured it out! So I have NOT taken any more of that stuff, and will not be taking any more!! It took the entire day for that stuff to work its way out of my system but finally by late friday night i was feeling better. My flight was scheduled for saturday at 11, but we were able to change it to sunday afternoon to give me another day at home to feel better. That was a great idea, because by saturday i was feeling myself again. I was able to interact with m&d, went to m's school, went shopping and had good food. It was a good end to the break. It was really super windy on saturday and cold. Quite the change from the 70's they had earlier in the week. I was able to catch some pictures of the flowers outside of my house. Cute!!! I also managed to see the apricot tree "popping". Love it! I am impresesd with the pictures, I took them with the camera on my phone.

Its a shame that I had to come back to Utah and school after not feeling good all break. But It was good to be home and be taken care of. M&D did a wonderful job, it was amazing!
Now I am back into the swing of things. I have a lul before next week which will be very busy and filled with tests and projects and all sorts of things. Joy. I am going to try (cross your fingers!) to get some of the project stuff done this week so I don't have to worry about it next week. That will be great if I can!!
Lastly....it snowed yesterday. LAME. So tired of it! What happened to the 70 degrees? Now its snowing? Who's ready for spring????
Oh by the way, did anyone else see the episode of ER from two weeks ago? The one with George Clooney? Amazing. Probably the best episode ever. Loved it!!
